For Agencies New to the Accreditation Program
PHASE ONE

You are required to enroll in the accrediation program. PAS will assist you in writing your letter of intent and notifying the PA Chiefs of your intention.
PHASE TWO
A self assessment must be performed. PAS will compare your agency's current policies and procedures to the accredditation program's standards and verify compliance to such standards.

PAS will make recommendations for policy and procedure changes, especially in the high-liability or critical areas of law enforcement.

Using the Power DMS platform, PAS will build and maintain your agency's assessment, using your agency's policies and proofs of compliance.
​
PAS will schedule your mock assessment, prepare your agency for the mock assessment, and be physicially present to answer questions or to resolve issues raised by the assessors.
PHASE THREE
An on-site review of agency assessment files and facilities will be completed by trained PLEAC assessors. PAS will schedule your on-site assessment, and be physicially present at both to answer questions or resolve issues raised by the assessors.
For Currently Accredited Agencies
Using the Power DMS platform, PAS will build and/or maintain your agency's assessment, using your agency's policies and proofs of compliance. PAS will schedule your mock and on-site assessments, and be physically present to answer questions or resolve issues raised by the assessors.
